About Amy Kaufman:

 

As Co-owner of Xtra Mile Interpreting, Amy spearheaded the expansion of the company from one interpreter, one language, one city to thousands of interpreters, countless languages, all states.  In Venezuela, Amy started an after-school academy known as Exploratorium Creative Labs. In Denver, she worked for FasTracKids, a franchise based company specializing in global early childhood enrichment education and was in the forefront of the development and expansion of their interactive educational programs around the globe. 

 

Born in Venezuela, Amy moved to Denver in 2000. Amy was raised within a very active Jewish community that inspired her desire to become a youth leader and a Zionist. She serves on the Jewish Colorado Israel Engagement Committee, which builds bridges between Israel and Colorado. Amy and her husband Arthur have 3 children.
